Category C+E (Class 1) Course for those who hold Cat C

It is a legal requirement that individuals who have passed their Category C (rigid) test undergo an additional test if they wish to drive a Category C+E drawbar/artic vehicle (Directgov, 2012).

 

In addition, in order to obtain a Category C+E (Class 1) entitlement, it is important for you to notice that further training is required as without the essential training it will be difficult for an individual to pass the test.

 

Requirements:

 

The Category C+E (Class 1) requirements are equal to holding a full Category C licence. You must be aged 18 or over.

    • Category C+E artic (Class 1) Driver Training 16 Hours
    • DVSA Driving Test
