Service Description

It is a legal requirement that individuals who have passed their Category B (car) test undergo an additional test if they wish to drive a Category C rigid vehicle (Directgov, 2012). In addition, in order to obtain a category C entitlement and higher it is important for you to notice that further training is required as without the essential training it will be difficult for an individual to pass the test. Requirements: If you’re considering attending our CAT C rigid vehicle course, then you are required to hold a full Category B licence as well as: o Be aged 18 or over o Have passed the medical test o Must possess a provisional C licence o Must have passed your LGV Theory Test (Multiple Choice and Hazard Perception) INCLUDED IN THE PRICE o Medical o Online Theory Training (Multiple Choice & Hazard Perception) 6 Months access o DVSA Hazard Perception Exam o DVSA Multiple Choice Exam o Category C (Rigid) Driver Training 16 Hours o DVSA Driving Test INCLUDED IN THE PRACTICAL: Our course will cover in-depth, all aspects of a CAT C rigid vehicle: o An introduction to the vehicle o Vehicle Familiarisation o Moving off and stopping o Road positioning o Junctions o Roundabouts o Crossroads o Use of signals o Pedestrian Crossings o Reversing exercise o Awareness, anticipation and planning o Overtaking o Progress/hesitancy o Meeting approaching traffic PAY AS YOU GO PLAN: Welcome our pay as you go plan! We have introduced a low-cost option for you to gain your Category C licence. Simply pay for part 1 and pass and move on to part 2. It’s as easy as that!
